Heinz wanted to speed up and improve the quality of score card information they gathered about Heinz brands in retail stores.
Solution
Heinz worked with its partner Flowfinity Wireless Inc. to create the Electronic Retail Audit. The application, built on the BlackBerry® Enterprise Solution and using Flowfinity Actions™, wirelessly automates the auditing process on BlackBerry® devices and creates reports in a sales report web site.
Results
Retail Business Managers are saving about two hours on data entry when they are doing audits. Heinz has moved from a week-long delay in generating reports from completed audits to having almost immediate information sent to executives wirelessly.
